Not every date is perfect, and that’s a shame. You put so much effort into getting a woman to want to go out with you in the first place. You’d probably hope that the date would go off without a hitch as a result. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of room for error, especially when you’re meeting women from the Internet. You never really know what you’re going to get when you meet up with a stranger from the Internet. You need to be prepared for the possibility of things not going as well as you would like them to. It might just work out that way, and you need to accept it.

However, it’s hard to be prepared for some of the disasters that could happen to you if you wind up having an awful date. You need to be able to know what these scenarios could be, and how you should deal with each one. With our help, even your disastrous dates don’t need to end in tears. We can help you recover from just about any horrendous date, but you can’t do that until you read up on what could wind up happening to you. Here are ten date disasters, and what you should do if they wind up happening to you:

1. She Looks like a Bridge Troll

Just reading dating site reviews won’t really help you prepare for something as disastrous as this. Trust us, it can happen to anyone at any time. If you show up and she looks completely different from what you expected, you need to try and find a way to get out of there. Try faking a family emergency so you can make a break for it.

2. You Forgot Your Wallet Back at Home

You’re having a great date and everything is going well until the check comes out. To your horror, you realize too late that you left your wallet back at home. What’s a guy to do in this sort of situation? You can’t just dine and dash, and you have no idea what to do. You might just need to get your date to pay for things and pay her back later.

3. You Have an Accident of Some Kind

You spilled wine all over the table cloth, or you tripped and fell flat on your face. It’s embarrassing! But it’s not the end of the world. You don’t want to have to pack up everything and move to Canberra just because you had a little accident during a date. It doesn’t need to be the end of the world. If you can poke fun at yourself, you’ll be able to recover from this sort of thing quickly. Just play it off!

4. She Has an Accident of Some Kind

Whether she spilled wine on her dress or something a bit more drastic happened, it embarrassed her and it embarrassed you, too. You may think there’s no coming back from something like this, but that’s not always the case. Try to play it off and show her there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. If you don’t make a big deal about it, she won’t feel so bad and the date can hopefully proceed as planned.

5. The Date Plans Fall Through

You can read all sorts of testimonials about dating sites, but that won’t prepare you for the eventuality of things going south or just not happening at all. Maybe she suddenly gets sick, or maybe you get sick. It doesn’t need to be the end of the world. Contact her and try to reschedule things for a different time so that you can still get to know her. If you’re lucky, you can work something else out.

6. You Have Absolutely No Chemistry with Her

You thought she was attractive when you saw her online and you sent her messages, but when you finally meet up with her, things don’t go as well as you had hoped. This can be seriously upsetting, but you need to be able to deal with it. You might just want to tell her that you’re not really feeling up to dating at the moment, but whatever you choose to say you need to let her down easy.

7. You Can’t Get It Up

You’re on a date with the hottest woman in Canberra and things are starting to heat up, but then the unthinkable happens. You can’t get hard. Maybe you’ve had a few too many drinks or maybe she’s just not doing it for you. If this happens to you, you should probably try to come up with a way to distract her. Spend some time focusing on her pleasure and see if that helps the situation at all.

If nothing works and you still can’t perform, maybe you should make up an excuse about how someone close to you died and you’re still too depressed to get it up. Squeeze out a few crocodile tears to really set the tone, and then make a break for it. She’ll feel so bad that you won’t have to worry about talking to her again.

8. She Seems a Bit Unstable and She’s Causing a Scene

You thought you were having a pleasant date until she starts pitching a fit. To your horror, she starts causing a scene in the middle of the restaurant. You’re not sure what she’s upset about, but she’s ranting and raving and just causing unnecessary drama. This is absolutely disastrous. If this happens to you, you should probably try to call over a manager to have her removed or pretend to call the cops. Whatever you do, you need to take control of the situation so she can’t completely ruin things for you. Obviously, this scenario is not comfortable to think about, but you need to be prepared in case it happens to you.

9. She Doesn’t Show Up

This is definitely an upsetting scenario. You show up to your date and you wait and wait and wait, but she never shows up. What’s a guy to do when this happens? You might have read reviews of sites to meet women that indicated this happening, but you never thought you would be the guy getting stood up. It seems so awful and so embarrassing, but it doesn’t need to be the end of the world. If you can, you should make the failed date into a night on the town to help you meet some ladies that way. It doesn’t need to be a disaster.

10. Things Are Just Bad and You Want to Get out of There

Sometimes you just don’t have a good date with a woman. It may not be anything as disastrous as described above, but it’s just not meeting your expectations. This is obviously upsetting, but you don’t need to put up with it. In fact, we think you should probably cut things off and make your way out of there.

You don’t need to put up with low-quality dates when there are so many hot women out there waiting to meet you. You should fake an emergency of some variety so you have an excuse to leave, then make a break for it. Remember: you don’t need to put up with terrible dates. So just leave!
